Skype for Business 2016 freezes when specific content is pasted to an IM conversation

Symptoms

When you paste specific clipboard content (for example, a particular format of HTML content) to an IM conversation in Microsoft Skype for Business 2016, the client may freeze.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the March 5, 2019, update (KB4462190) for Skype for Business 2016.
