Symptoms

After you install security update 2880289, multibyte text may appear garbled on some websites that use Adobe Flash Player. For example, the website may use a Flash application in conjunction with JavaScript to process the text, perhaps for logon functionality. When you type multibyte text into the application, the text is corrupted. 

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
