Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in eCommerce Gateway - EDI Edition and Order Management in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 Feature Pack 1 (FP1):
-
YouĀ run the Process Inbound EDI Purchase Orders (44.400.00)Ā process to import a purchase order that contains an inventoryĀ ID that has the following characteristics:
-
The inventory ID has quantity on hand.
-
The Auto PO PolicyĀ box contains theĀ Auto PO if No Inventory value on the Replenishments tab of the Inventory Items (10.250.00) screen.
-
-
You run the Convert EDI POs to Sales Orders (44.401.00) process to create sales orders for the purchase order.
-
You review the sales order on theĀ Sales Orders (40.100.00) screen.
In this scenario, you notice that theĀ Auto Create PO check box is selected on the Line Items tab of theĀ Sales Orders (40.100.00)Ā screen. You expect the check box not to be selected because the inventory ID has quantity on hand.
