Third-party update category synchronization resets to default in Configuration Manager

Symptoms

After choosing categories for synchronization in the Third-Party Software Update Catalogs Property Sheet, or during subscription to a partner catalog, the option to Synchronize all update categories is unexpectedly selected. This occurs once a week for built-in partner catalogs for third-party software updates. Custom third-party software update catalogs are not affected.

Update information for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager current branch, version 1910

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, version 1910 installed.

Restart information

You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix does not replace any previously released hotfix.

The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
