Update Rollup 75 for Azure Site Recovery

Introduction

This article describes the issues that are fixed in Update Rollup 75 in the following versions of Microsoft Azure Site Recovery:

• Azure to Azure

  • No new releases

• Modernized VMware/Physical to Azure

  • Download Microsoft ASR replication appliance OVF template

  • Mobility service (version 9.62.7172.1)

• Hyper-V or VMM to Azure

  • No new releases.

• Classic VMware/Physical to Azure

  • No new releases.

After you install this update, the following issues are fixed, and the following improvements are included.

• Certificate renewal for VMware to Azure in Modernized Appliances.

Updating your Azure Site Recovery On-Premises components

On-premises VMware or physical site to Azure (Modernized experience) 

1. Appliance component upgrade: Ensure that your on-premises management appliance is up to date by navigating to the Appliance configuration manager. If not, download the latest version for the components that are behind the latest version.

2. Mobility Agent upgrade:

   1. If you have selected auto-upgrade, the agents will be auto upgraded.

   2. If you have opted out of auto-upgrade, then you can update each individual VM or a setup of VMs from portal

• To upgrade one VM at a time, in the Azure portal, navigate to the Protected Items > Replicated Items page. Select a VM and then select the Update Agent button that appears next to agent version.

• To upgrade a set of VMs, in the Azure portal, navigate to the Protected Items > Replicated Items page. Click on the Banner that says "New Azure Site Recovery mobility agent update is available. Click to install ". Then select a set of VMs for which you want to upgrade the agent. Then click OK at the bottom of the page.
