Symptoms
This issue occurs when you deploy Windows Management Framework (WMF) 4.0 in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. The following Microsoft Exchange PowerShell scripts for database availability group (DAG) management do not work:

Cause
This issue occurs because of a by design logic in an Exchange Server 2010 environment.Note Exchange Server 2010 PowerShell scripts, Exchange Server 2010 cmdlets and Exchange Server 2010 setup are not supported in Windows PowerShell 4.0 that is included in WMF 4.0.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install Update Rollup 10 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3.
