Can I still use Yammer? Is Yammer going away?
Yammer is now Viva Engage. Even though the name changed, the product is largely the same.
Does the Viva Engage app in Teams lack any functionality that had been in Yammer?
Yes. Communities features in Yammer that aren't available in the Viva Engage app include:

Editing features, such as Post on behalf of another user and Choose skin tone for reactions

What happened to the Yammer Communities app in Outlook?
The Viva Engage app in Outlook replaced the Communities app in Outlook in late 2023.
Can I use the Viva Engage app in Teams to access my external Yammer networks?
You can see your external Yammer networks from within the Viva Engage app in Teams. To access and participate in your networks, you'll be directed to Viva Engage on the web.
What license do I need to use Viva Engage?
Viva Engage requires either a Viva Engage license or Yammer license.
How much does Viva Engage cost?
Viva Engage is available to most Microsoft 365 customers at no additional cost.
