You can't sign in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) successfully when the computer is unlocked


Signing in Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) sometimes fails or loops in a corrupted state after you unlock the computer in the sign-in progress.

Additionally, you receive one of the following error messages when the issue occurs:





To fix this issue, install the December 6, 2016, update (KB3127976) for Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
