You cannot edit the "Pickup quantity" field in the "Item details" form in a sales order unexpectedly in a certain scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Retail POS

This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for all regions.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Retail POS:

  • You create a sales transaction is set to be picked up in a specific day from a certain store.

  • You generate a sales order for the sales transaction.

  • You recall the sales order.

  • You open the "Pickup information" form from the sales order.

  • You click another store in the "Pickup information" form, and then select back to the store that was previously set.

  • You click Save in the "Pickup information" form.

In this situation, the Pickup quantity field cannot be edited in the "Item details" form. Therefore, you cannot pickup items in the sales order. Although you can edit the Pickup quantity field in the "Item details" form before you click Save without any change in the "Pickup information" form.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
