Problem description
You delete a note in Sticky Notes in Windows 7. Then, you are prompted for confirmation. On the confirmation dialog box, you check the Don't display this message again check box to stop any later prompts for confirmation. Therefore, you are not prompted for confirmation when you delete any later notes. However, there is no method that you can use to re-enable the prompt.Fix it for me" section. regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. -
Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\StickyNotes

Double-click the PROMPT_ON_DELETE registry entry.

In the Value data box, type
00000001, and then click OK. -
On the File menu, click Exit.
