Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You upgrade to Windows Server 2012 R2 from an earlier version of Windows Server.

You install the Fax service on Windows Server 2012 R2.
In this scenario, you cannot receive a fax. Additionally, the Fax service may crash and you receive an Access Violation error message.
