Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You use Internet Explorer 8 to browse a Web page. When you try to select an option from a drop-down list in a modal dialog box, the options are not displayed as expected. This issue occurs if you set the document.domain property of the modal dialog box before the drop-down list is shown.
