Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You deploy Microsoft Exchange Server in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment.

You use the SetCsClientPolicy command together with the ExcludedContactFolders parameter to apply a client policy. The policy excludes a folder from contact search.

A user signs in to Lync 2010, and then performs a contact search to search a contact that is in the folder.
In this scenario, the contacts in the folder are still displaying in the search results.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
