You cannot view or download an image on a Windows Mobile-based device that is synchronized with an Exchange Server 2010 mailbox


Consider the following scenario. You synchronize a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based device with a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 mailbox by using ActiveSync. You try to view a rich text email message that has an embedded image. In this scenario, you cannot view or download the image on the device.


To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:

2645995 Description of Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2


Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
