You install the HPC Pack 2008 R2 for Workstations or HPC Pack 2008 R2 for Cycle Harvesting application on a workstation node that is running Windows 7.
You double-click a Microsoft Excel worksheet in Windows Explorer on the workstation node.
In this scenario, you experience a delay that can take up to five seconds until the Excel worksheet is opened.
Note This issue does not occur if you open the Excel worksheet by using the Open command on the File menu in Excel.
To resolve this issue, install the update on all workstation nodes.
