To compress your OS drive:

Open File Explorer, and in the left pane, select This PC.

Right-click (or tap and hold) the OS drive, usually titled "Local Disk (C:)", and then select Properties.

Select the Compress this drive to save disk space check box, and then select Apply > OK.
