How do I view and clear my location activity?

To view and clear the location activity associated with your Microsoft account, go to your privacy dashboard home page and look for Location activity under Manage your activity data. The data displayed on this page includes the last known location of your Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 devices, and GPS-based location data from Bing and Microsoft Health.

Some location data will not appear on the privacy dashboard, including favorite places, billing and shipping info, your profile address, location data that you’ve associated with an app or device, and location data that you've associated with your content, like photos or calendar appointments.

How do I clear the location history from my device?

To clear location data stored on your Windows 10 device, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Privacy > Location.

How do I change my Microsoft Health data?

How do I change my saved and favorite places?

Go to My Places in Bing to change your saved places.

How do I choose which apps and devices can request access to my location?

Follow the steps for your device:

  • Windows 10 devices: Select Settings > Privacy > Location

  • iOS devices: Select Settings > Privacy > Location Services

  • Android devices: Select Settings > Connections > Location

How do I turn off Find My Device?

On your Windows 10 device, go to Settings > Update & security > Find My Device or Find My Phone.
