Internet Explorer is retiring and will go out of support on June 15, 2022
The same Internet Explorer 11 apps and sites you use today can open in Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode. Microsoft Edge is the faster, more secure browser recommended for Windows 10 and Windows 11.
We recommend you transition to Microsoft Edge before June 15, 2022, to start enjoying a faster, more secure and more modern browsing experience.
Your PC running Windows comes with Internet Explorer already installed. If you're having problems opening Internet Explorer, make sure it's set as your default browser and pin it to your Start screen and taskbar. Here's how to make Internet Explorer your default browser:
-
Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then choose Internet options.
-
Select the Programs tab, and then choose Make default.
-
Select OK, and then close Internet Explorer.
