Heads-Up Display
The Navigator provides quick access to key information and fields without distracting you from your work. When undocked, the Navigator becomes the Heads-Up Display (HUD).
The HUD is useful when you want to keep your focus on images while dictating or reviewing reports. You can move the HUD to any location on any screen connected to your workstation.
The HUD is part of the Navigator (Left pane) in the Report Editor.
Key features
Speech Menu
From the Navigator pane, start or stop dictation, view the current dictation status, select a recording device, and open the PowerScribe One Speech Menu (gear icon) to access voice commands, formatting options, and speech-related settings.
Undock panel
Undock the Navigator in the Report Editor to use it as the Heads-Up Display. The HUD can be moved to any location on any connected screen, allowing flexible placement based on your workflow.
Always on top
The HUD remains visible on top of other windows, ensuring that important information is always accessible while you work.
Transparency meter
Adjust the transparency of the HUD so you can view information beneath it. This helps minimize distractions while maintaining visibility of images and other content.

Field navigation
Quickly select and move between fields within an AutoText.
Microphone status
A green circle around the microphone icon indicates that your recording device is active and ready for dictation.
Recording device selection
