How do I create a group that can be found with GroupMe Campus?

1. Tap Discover .

2. Tap the new chat  button, then tap Start School Group.

3. You can Set an Avatar (profile picture) for the group from your device’s images.

4. Type in your Group name, which is required.

5. Add an optional Group topic, then tap the checkmark.

6. To add people to your new group, you can:

   Tip

   You can select to Skip adding members if you would prefer to get your GroupMe Campus group setup first.

   • Search for contacts using their name, email address, or phone number.
   • Choose from your existing CONTACTS.
   • Choose GROUPS to use an existing group’s member list to add to yours.
   • Choose from the list of Suggested contacts.

7. Tap the checkmark to create your group.

8. In Advanced Settings, you can set up Who can join, Visibility, Customize group and Emoji like. Learn more about managing your group settings.

   Tip

   You can select to Skip and manage these options later from the group settings.

9. Tap the checkmark again to finish creating your group.

1. From Chats , tap new chat .

4. Name your new group, which is required. You can also Give your group a topic, which is optional, then select Next.

   • Search for contacts using their name or phone number.
   • Choose from your existing Contacts.
   • Choose Groups to use an existing group’s member list to add to yours.
   • Choose from the list of RECENT contacts.

6. Tap Done to create your group.

7. In Advanced Settings, you can set up Who can join, Visibility, Customize group and Emoji like. Learn more about managing your group settings.

   You can select to Skip and manage these options later from the group settings.

6. Enter a Group topic, which is optional, then select Create Group.

   • Choose from your existing Contacts.
   • Choose Groups to use an existing group’s member list to add to yours.
   • Choose from the list of Recent contacts.

8. Select Add member to finish creating your group.

9. In Settings for your group name, you can set up Who can join, Visibility, Customize group and Like icon. Learn more about managing your group settings.
