Help me create works with you to develop your first draft and suggests the best Microsoft 365 app to use for finalizing your document, deck, or spreadsheet. Help me create will guide you through the starting process, so you can focus more on the work you want to do.
Note: Help me create is only available to enterprise users at this time.
How does Help me create work?
Help me create leverages the power of large language models (LLMs) through Copilot for Microsoft 365 to assist you in crafting the initial draft of the content you want, while also suggesting different Microsoft 365 apps that are suitable for the kind of content you have.
Get Started with Help me create

Sign into Microsoft 365.com with your work or school credentials.

Select Create from the left-side menu.

Choose Help me create.

Enter your prompt (an idea, project, or assignment that you want help with) into the text window.

Select Generate. Help me create will produce content based on your prompt.

Copilot will display the content it has created along with recommended Microsoft 365 apps. Choose the app you want to use and select Create.

If Create is not an option, you'll need to select Copy text and Open [app name] to copy the created content, open the app, and paste the content in.
Note: The Help me create integration with other Microsoft 365 apps varies based on the type and purpose of the app. This means that in some cases, Help me create will copy the generated text into your selected app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). In other cases, you'll have to copy and paste the generated text manually (Forms, OneNote, Lists, Sway, Loop, and Viva Engage). In certain situations, only an app recommendation can be made (Clipchamp, Visio, Stream, PowerBI, and Whiteboard).

If no content can be created and you only see Microsoft 365 app suggestions, you will need to select Create new to open a new file with the app you have selected.
Note: Help me create is based on a text-based LLM. If the prompt is asking for help creating something that is not text-based (“Help me create a video…”, “Help me create an image/picture…”), Help me create won't be able to create it so will only recommend the best Microsoft 365 apps for that intent.
