Symptoms

When you exit a Remote Desktop connection in Windows 8.1, the handles are not closed. This causes a leak of thread handles in the Remote Desktop Active X control Mstscax.dll.

Hotfix information

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
