This article describes the issues that are fixed in the updated client for Microsoft System Center Configuration manager current branch, version 1610.
Issues that are fixed

Newly installed version 1610 clients can't switch from self-signed to public key infrastructure (PKI)-issued certificates until they are restarted.
Messages that resemble the following are recorded in the ClientIDManagerStartup.log file after client installation:Begin searching client certificates based on Certificate Issuers
Certificate Issuer 1 [CN=xxxx Root CA; O=xxx xxxxx xx xxxx; C=US]
Finding certificate by issuer chain returned error 80092004
Unable to find any Certificate based on Certificate IssuersAdditionally, messages resembling the following are recorded in the locationservices.log file:
MP 'mp.domain.com' is not compatible LocationServices Persisted AAD on-boarding info. LocationServices
When this issue occurs, clients cannot communicate with a management point over HTTPS. However, HTTP communication still functions.
Note You can restart the client to work around this issue. -
The Install Application task sequence step fails because it can't locate a management point on non-domain joined clients. Errors that resemble the following are recorded in the smsts.log on the client.
