Summary
This update adds more supports for Contact Management in Microsoft Skype for Business on Mac in a Lync Server 2013 environment.
This update enables Skype for Business on Mac users to view the user's contact list as a simple collection or in groups. It supports the ability to add and remove Contacts, User Groups, as well as Distribution Groups from the contact list. Additionally, with this update, users are able to search for contacts in the user's organization, other federated organizations, even on the Skype network. This update also allows users to monitor the contact list and subscribe to the presence of contacts.
Note Since UCS (Unified Contact Store) is not supported in Lync 2011 for Mac yet, if the user's contact list provider is UCS, accessing (reading and modifying) contacts will not be supported.
