Symptoms
When you use Active Directory (AD) Authentication to connect to SQL Server 2017 on Linux, you may notice that the AD authentication fails with the following error message:
Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'UserName', error code 0x80090304. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)
Note This fix addresses/renews the SQL Server service account Kerberos ticket expiration problem.
