Symptoms
Assume that you use Distributed Availability Group (DAG) in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2017. You run queries against sys.availability_replicas and other Availability Group (AG) related views. In this situation, you may receive an access violation (AV) error and send an alert to the system administrator.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
