Improvements and fixes

This update contains the following fixes in SharePoint Server 2019:

  • Fixes an issue in which the "Cannot start service AppFabricCachingService" error is received when you run the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard (PSConfig) if the Distributed Cache service is disabled.

  • Fixes an issue in which it is impossible to distinguish between selected and non-selected navigation elements on the SharePoint Term Store Management Tool page in high contrast mode.

  • Fixes an issue in which exceptions from third-party antimalware engines could prevent the Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI) feature from delivering requests to SharePoint.

This update also contains a fix in SharePoint Server 2019. To fix this issue completely, you have to install KB 5002532 together with this update.

  • Fixes an issue in which the screen reader announces some suite bar elements by using overly lengthy labels.
