Summary

This article describes the contents of the January 2023 servicing release for Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). This servicing release contains adding Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring 2.5 Service Pack 1 (MBAM 2.5 SP1).

IMPORTANT We recommend that you test updates before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new servicing release contains all the fixes (including security fixes) that were included in the previous update package. We recommend that you apply for the latest servicing release.

Issues that are fixed in this update

MBAM 2.5

This servicing release upgrades from MVC 4 to MVC 5. MVC 5 is included as part of this update and MVC 4 is no longer a prerequisite for MBAM.

Prerequisites 

To apply this update for MBAM 2.5 SP1, you must have MBAM 2.5 SP1 RTM installed.

You must restart your computer after you apply this update.
