Symptoms
You run an application that uses the Microsoft Provider for DB2 to run a distributed transaction (DUW) against a DB2 database. To do this, you must interact with Microsoft Data Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) to join a transaction.
In this situation, joining the transaction fails and generates a 0x80040E14 exception.
