Symptoms
When you perform Data Manipulation Language (DML) operations on an External Table that's using the PolyBase Generic ODBC connector in SQL Server 2019, you may see the following error:

Cannot execute the query "Remote Query" against OLE DB provider "MSOLEDBSQL" for linked server "(null)". 107087; An internal DMS error occurred that caused this operation to fail. Contact Microsoft customer service
Status
