Nonsecurity-related fixes and improvements that are included in this security update

  • Contains fixes for the following nonsecurity issues:

    • Assume that .xls workbooks that contain hyperlinks were added or edited in any version of Excel in Windows 10. When you open the .xls workbooks in Excel 2010, the workbooks are corrupted.

    • If a file has shape texts that have only line feed as data, these text aren't populated when you open the file again in Visio 2013.

    • If a file has shape texts that have only line feed as data, these text aren't populated when you open the file again in Visio 2016.

    • When you open some Office 365 group email messages in Outlook 2016, Outlook 2016 may crash.

    • Nonbreaking hyphen is displayed as a square in some fonts in the Navigation pane.

    • When you drag some email messages from Outlook 2016 to Word 2016, Word 2016 and Outlook 2016 may stop responding.
