Symptoms
Deprecated feature Database compatibility level 110 should have a unique external feature ID in Microsoft SQL Server 2014. However, another deprecated feature sp_control_dbmasterkey_password has the same external feature ID.
Cause
The issue occurs because external feature ID "274" is already assigned to another deprecated feature that is the stored procedure sp_control_dbmasterkey_password. Therefore, there are two features assigned to the same ID "274." This fix resolves the duplicated ID number by reassigning Database compatibility level 110 to a new feature ID number "275" for uniqueness.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
