When you redeem an Office product key or activate Office, you might see the following error messages:
"This product key isn't meant for your region"
"This product couldn't be activated because the product key can only be activated in certain geographic regions"
If you get this message, this means that your product key was purchased in a different country or region than where you're currently located. Office product keys must be redeemed in the country or region where they are purchased. For help with this error, contact Microsoft support.
