This article describes the Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated August 31, 2010.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Images that are exported programmatically from Office PowerPoint 2007 are exported at 96 dots per inch (dpi) even after you add the ExportBitmapResolution registry entry that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 827745.

  • When you exit PowerPoint by pressing Ctrl + Q, the PresentationBeforeClose and PresentationClose events do not occur. Only the PresentationCloseFinal event occurs.

  • If the DefaultLanguageID property is called through the object model (OM), lots of edit commands such as moving a shape can crash PowerPoint.

  • The printer driver does not reflect the number of copies in PowerPoint 2010.
