Symptoms
Assume that you try to use the Managed Metadata Service in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, but the service is unavailable. In this situation, SharePoint logs an event. However, when the Managed Metadata Service is restored, SharePoint does not log an event as expected.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, apply the following hotfix package:
