INTRODUCTION
Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft SharePoint Workspace 2010. This update resolves several issues that may occur when you use SharePoint Workspaces 2010.
Issues that this update fixes

When you use a SharePoint Workspace 2010 client to sync with a SharePoint 2013 Preview site, some lists cannot sync to your local position. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The field "AppAuthor" contains a lookup to list "AppPrincipals" that cannot be resolved.
Note You should re-sync the lists after you apply this update.

Assume that you have SharePoint Workspace 2010 and a peer workspace running on a computer that is installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 Preview. In this situation, you may encounter issues to open Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents.

Assume that you have SharePoint Workspace 2010 running on a computer that is installed Office Professional Plus 2013 Preview. When you try to sync documents from a SharePoint site to your workspace, issues occur. Additionally, changes in the documents can be synced with the SharePoint site successfully, but cannot be synced to Office 2010 client application correctly.
