Hosting issue

The monitoring and persistence services do not display a green icon in the Windows Server AppFabric Configuration Wizard Consider the following scenario:

  • You have installed AppFabric 1.1 on the computer.

  • You configure the monitoring and persistence stores.

  • You install one of the following cumulative update packages:

    • Cumulative update package 1 for Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server

    • Cumulative update package 2 for Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server

    • Cumulative update package 3 for Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server

In this scenario, the monitoring and persistence services do not display a green icon in the Windows Server AppFabric Configuration Wizard.

Caching issues

Issue 1: The local cache feature of AppFabric Caching may not work correctlyThe local cache feature of AppFabric Caching does not work correctly in some scenarios. Objects from the local cache are evicted aggressively.CauseMemory pressure-related eviction is based incorrectly on virtual bytes.ResolutionAfter you apply this hotfix, local cache memory pressure-related eviction is changed to be based on private bytes.
