Introduction
This article introduces an update for Access Point Name (APN) database in Windows 8. This update adds entries to the APN database for the KDDI mobile operator.Note The APN database file is used by the Windows Connection Manager (WCM) to help users connect to mobile broadband networks. Without the APN database file, you have to enter APN information manually to connect to a mobile broadband network.
