Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)
This article describes update 2878313 for Microsoft Office 2013 and Office Home and Student 2013 RT that was released on June 10, 2014.
This update provides the latest fixes for Office 2013. It includes stability and performance improvements. Please be aware that this update does not apply to Office 365 editions such as Office 365 Home.
Issues that the update resolves

When you zoom up a draw that contains a custom fill pattern in Visio 2013, the fill pattern is displayed incorrectly at 1000 percent or a higher zoom level.

Assume that you create a custom font in a document in Word 2013 that has the ribbon collapsed. When you try to edit the custom font in the font gallery, no dialog appears. Additionally, the custom font also disappears in the font gallery.

Update information
This update applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to Office 2013 Click-to-Run edition such as Microsoft Office 365 Home.

Start an Office 2013 application.

On the File menu, click Account.

For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installation, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installation, the Update Options item is not displayed.
