Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)
This article describes update 2881000 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 and Office Home and Student 2013 RT that was released on June 10, 2014. This update provides the latest fixes for PowerPoint 2013. It includes stability and performance improvements. Please be aware that this update does not apply to Office 365 editions such as Office 365 Home.
Issue that the update resolves

Assume that you run a macro to insert an object in a slide in PowerPoint 2013. When you press the CTRL+D command to duplicate the slide, the slide is not duplicated as expected.

Update information
This update applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to Office 2013 Click-to-Run edition such as Microsoft Office 365 Home.

Start PowerPoint 2013.

On the File menu, click Account.

For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installation, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installation, the Update Options item is not displayed.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. If you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.

Type windows update, tap or click Settings, and then tap or click View installed updates in the search results.

In the List of updates, locate and then tap or click update 2881000, and then tap or click Uninstall.

Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
