Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a computer that is running Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • You wake up the computer by using a human interface device (HID) (such as a precision touch pad).

In this scenario, the computer goes back to the sleep mode again in a short time period.

Resolution
