After you convert a workbook that contains a link to a file on a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) share to PDF, the hyperlink is broken in the PDF file if the PDF file is hosted on the web and opened in Internet Explorer. When you click the hyperlink, you may receive the following error message:
404 - file or directory not found.
