Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in Commerce Server 2009:

You create several page groups in the Marketing System of the Commerce Server Core Systems.

You use the Discount Ad Web Part to serve the advertisements or discounts that are most relevant to current shoppers.
-
You specify some of the page groups when you configure the Content selection: Page group property for the Discount Ad Web Part.
In this scenario, the Page group property setting of the Discount Ad Web Part does not take effect. Therefore, you cannot target advertisements or discounts to specified page groups by using the Discount Ad Web Part.
Cause
This issue occurs because the Page group property setting of the Discount Ad Web Part is not being passed into the ContentSelector object.
Resolution

Prerequisites
You must have Commerce Server 2009 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer. However, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) after you apply this hotfix. To restart IIS, at a command prompt, run the following command, and then press ENTER:
IISRESET /RESTARTNote This command stops and then restarts all IIS services that are running.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
