Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a Windows 7-based computer that is equipped with a hybrid television tuner. For example, you have a hybrid tuner that supports the ISDB-T network and the ISDB-S network.

You configure the computer to enter sleep mode after a certain period of idle time.
-
You schedule a recording of some television programs in Windows Media Center.
In this scenario, the computer does not enter sleep mode after the computer is idle for the specified time.
Cause
This problem occurs because of a deadlock when the system is scanning television channels.
Resolution
Hotfix information
