ISSUE
Users may encounter an issue in Mac Word after updating to Version 16.96 where equation editor does not function as expected. This includes the Equation editor not opening with the assigned shortcut (Ctrl + =), or expressions not converting as expected, such as ^x to an exponent.
STATUS: FIXED
The issue has been fixed with Word 16.96.2 release.
