Description of the Word 2010 hotfix package (Word-x-none.msp): April 24, 2012

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

• Assume that the Normal template (Normal.dotm) is located on a network share. When you click Save selection to AutoText gallery, the Save in location defaults to the first template in the list instead of Normal.dotm.If a document is based on a template other than Normal.dotm, the Save in location defaults to this other template instead of Normal.dotm.
  

• Assume that you have a template file (.dotx or .dotm) on a network share that is accessed through a UNC path. When you attach the template file to a document in Word 2010, you receive the following error message:

  Template Name is locked for editing by 'another user'.

  Open a Read Only copy
  
  Create a local copy and merge your changes later
  
  Receive notification when the original copy is available

• When you coauthor or merge documents in Word 2010, some table formatting is lost.

• When you save a document that contains an image together with a compound border as a PDF file in Word 2010, the border is retained but the image is lost.
