ISSUE
Outlook for Mac and Outlook Mobile intermittently stop syncing with the following error:
- Outlook Mobile: Add account again. We’re having trouble syncing emailaddress. Please add your account again.
- Outlook for Mac: Emailaddress: We’re having trouble syncing the mailbox. Please remove and add your account again.
STATUS: INVESTIGATING
The Outlook Team is investigating this issue for a fix. We will update this topic as soon as we have more information.
WORKAROUND
- Open the Outlook web app.
- Go to the People pane.
- Select Favorites under the user’s mailbox.
- Delete all Favorites contacts.
