This article describes the Microsoft Office 2010 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated December 11, 2010.  

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you insert a 2D chart (for example a column, bar, scatter, line, area, or bubble chart) that contains many different values into a worksheet, some gridlines at the bottom of the chart are not displayed.

    Note This issue occurs in Excel 2013, Excel 2010, and Excel 2007.

  • When you open a .pptx file that contains high-resolution images in PowerPoint 2010, it takes longer than expected to scroll through the slides or edit the file.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time.
