Denne artikkelen beskriver et problem der GetFileAttributes CreateFile API ta mer tid og når flere filer finnes i en mappe i Windows Embedded kompakt 7. Tiden som brukes av API-går fra 500 millisekunder per fil til 1000 millisekunder per fil, og det holder på å øke. Dette er et alvorlig problem i biler plattformen der filen indeksering aldri fullføres på grunn av dette problemet.
