Symptoms
After you install the update that is mentioned in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2514982 on a non-English version of the Microsoft Lync 2010 client, the CorePlaybackEngine.resources.dll file is not localized. Additionally, you encounter the following issues:

The strings in Lync 2010 Recording Player are not localized when you use Recording Manager to play a recording.

The Language property in the Details tab of the CorePlaybackEngine.resources.dll file's Properties page is not set correctly.

The resource strings are not localized correctly if you extract the CorePlaybackEngine.resources.dll file.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following update:
